Every project is unique, and each book from the studio is custom made, and made by hand. Pricing is provided upon confirmation of all project details.

This guide walks through how to place an order for a book from Gibbs Bookbinding.

How to Place an Order

• pricing is provided upon confirmation of all details

• send an email to: info@gibbsbookbinding.com

• provide:

  • deadline

  • link to pdf of page layouts (dropbox, google drive, wetransfer) | or sample images of original artwork

  • pdf of cover text/artwork design

  • cover material and color

  • page size h x w

  • page count

  • 1-2 line summary of project

  • reference images of desired outcome

Step One: Type of Book Pages / Content:

• size of pages h x w in inches

• page count

  Options:

  • print-ready PDF pages

  • original art or manuscript pages

  • dropbox file with text and images gathered: the studio will create page layouts for the book

Step Two: Outcome Options:

• quantity

• deadline

  Options:

  • hardcover book

    • in-stock cloth | special order cloth

    • leather colors

  • standard film or television script

  • custom clamshell box

Additional Notes:

• foil stamping guidelines

• endpapers:

same paper as book
custom printed | colored paper | marbled paper | Japanese paper
