the process to commission a book

Every project is unique, and each book from the studio is custom made, and made by hand. Pricing is provided upon confirmation of all project details.

Step One: Type of Book Pages / Content:

• print-ready PDF pages

• original art or manuscript pages

• dropbox file with text and images gathered: the studio will create page layouts for the book

Step Two: Outcome Options:

• hardcover book

  • in-stock cloth | special order cloth

  • leather colors

• standard film or television script

• custom clamshell box

Additional Notes:

• foil stamping guidelines

• endpapers:

same paper as book
colored paper | custom printed | marbled paper | Japanese paper

Step Three: Project Specifications to Provide:

• page height x page width

• number of pages

• deadline

• any additional custom requests:
  inclusions of 3D objects, etc

  • pdf of cover text/artwork design
